application/pdf SCS Life Cycle Based Certification There are a lot of blind alleys on the path to becoming green. Many strategies can result in unintended negative consequences at some point during the life-cycle of the product. Managers must determine what is truly green versus simple greenwashing, and consider every step that can be taken to protect the integrity of the claim. SCS is able to provide scientific, third-party certification that takes into account the full “cradle-to-grave” consequences of a product’s manufacture, use and disposal. This process is consistent with SCS-002, the emerging national standard for LCA metrics, and conformant with ISO-14044 international LCA requirements. 247.50 KB Mon 06 of April, 2009 SCS1 559 Download
